FoAM in Brussels hosts a two-day tutorial on creating Alternate Reality Games.

FoAM in Brussels hosts a two-day tutorial on creating Alternate Reality Games, facilitated by Adrian Hon and Matt Wieteska of Six to Start.

This ARG tutorial explores the nuts and bolts of designing and running an Alternate Reality Game, with a specific focus on storytelling and real world interaction. The tutorial provides case studies of previous ARGs (including those Six to Start worked on) and includes exercises on developing story worlds, collaborative storytelling, and community formation. “An alternate reality game (ARG) is an interactive narrative that uses the real world as a platform, often involving multiple media and game elements, to tell a story that may be affected by participants’ ideas or actions.”
